Killswitch Engage (sometimes called Killswitch Engage II to avoid confusion with the band's 2000 album of the same name is the fifth studio album by the metalcore band Killswitch Engage. It marks the first time the band has worked with an outside producer, Brendan O'Brien (known for his work with AC/DC, The Offspring, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Incubus, Mastodon, and Stone Temple Pilots). It is expected for release on June 30, 2009 via Roadrunner Records. A special edition and vinyl record of the album will be released on the same day. On May 28, their official fanclub, Take This Oath were granted access to be the first people in the world to listen to "Reckoning." The track became available from the Roadrunner Records website to the general public the following day. On June 5, VH1's website premiered the video for "Starting Over". The video premiered on MTV on June 6, that night Killswitch hosted Headbangers Ball.
