Century Media Records is happy to welcome MAROON as a new member of our ever-growing family. East Germany's vegan straight edge five-piece doesn't only offer a heavyweight mix of brutal hardcore with metal-riffs, but also displays political awareness and involvement in an alternative life-style. All members were heavily influenced by new school as well as straight edge bands like Earth Crisis, Morning Again and Despair, but share a love for diverse metal acts such as At The Gates/The Haunted, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura, Dismember or Unleashed.
MAROON have a reputation as one of Europe's busiest and energetic live-bands, thanks to the numerous shows they played during the past 6 years of their existence (and more than 60 just between June and December this year!). For 2004's gigs they didn't only stop at European festivals like With Full Force Festival and Pressure Fest, but also shared the stage with Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, Sworn Enemy or friends and labelmates Heaven Shall Burn.

In early 2005 Century Media/Abacus Records will release MAROON's acclaimed album "Endorsed By Hate" in North America with new artwork and two enhanced live-clips from this year's With Full Force Festival ("Shadow Of The Vengeance", "Still Believe In What Has Fallen Apart"). Alveran Records will re-launch the album fro Europe (including the enhancements) through their freshly inked Production & Distribution deal with Century Media Records. It's re-release is right in time for the European "Triumph Of Hate"-tour with Switzerland's Cataract: be sure not to miss one of Europe's most invigorating live-bands.
