SHADOWS FALL hot news - 100.000 albums sold in the US, new album & video release!!! - 22 July 2004
The last few weeks have been remarkable ones in the SHADOWS FALL camp, with one positive event following the next. The band just came back home from an amazing European tour and a couple of unbelievable festivals, when they got the great news: Their last album "The Art Of Balance" just broke the magical mark of 100.000 sold copies in the USA! This euphoria was even more enriched by knowing this is the first time ever for a Century Media band! You can find a photo of the band celebrating this great moment!
This already has revved up the expectations on the new release "The War Within", to be hitting stores on September 20th 2004. Last week SHADOWS FALL finished shooting the video clip for "The Power Of I And I", which will be a special event where you can see a few well-known faces! That's all we will give away for now, but pay attention to the lines below and you'll get some more details...

"It has been a whirlwind week in the Shadows Fall camp. We just returned home after an amazing European tour with our good friends in Killswitch Engage, Chimaira and God Forbid with some crazy festivals thrown in along the way. A huge thank you to everyone that came out to support a bunch of American metal heads causing trouble in your countries. Every show was incredible and we look forward to a return trip sometime next year. While we were travelling abroad, we received some amazing news about the current sales status for our last record "The Art Of Balance". A few weeks ago, our album reached over 100,000 sold in the US!!! This is an unbelievable accomplishment for a small metal band from Massachusetts. We can not thank everyone that bought our album enough. In the day of music downloading and CD burning this is a huger statement about the growth of the underground metal scene. Next stop platinum baby!!! hahahaha. We just wrapped up a video shoot for the song "The Power Of I And I" off of our upcoming release "The War Within". It was a great time and we were joined by many of our friends for the shoot. Thanks to our director Dale Resteghini from Raging Nation Films and all the guys from Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, Every time I Die, God Forbid, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Unearth and Devil Driver for coming down and making it such a good time.
