TAD MOROSE - "Anubis" video & more [!] - 27 October 2004
Sweden's Metal heritage TAD MOROSE is proud to present a full-animated video for the song "Anubis" from their highly acclaimed last album "Modus Vivendi". The video was created by the young Swedish Metal fan Henrik Sandberg. TAD MOROSE guitarist Krunt: "Henrik approached us and said that he would like to do an animated video for Anubis and Urban, who knows this guy well, told us that he was pretty good with things like that, so we said: 'Hell yeah, do what ever you want'. Personally I thought that an animated video could be either very silly or very cool, so I was curious to see the final result. I remember sitting down in my living room, putting on the DVD and....well, what can I say? I hurt my jaw pretty badly since it dropped to the floor with a bang. This was way better than I could imagine. Just look at it and you will know what I mean. A cool thing with this video is that it is Henrik's idea from start to finish. He has done a very, very good job I think, and he will probably get tons of offers after this one."
The clip will be presented on various music TV channels round the world in late October. It will be also featured on the "Visual Rebellion 2" DVD compilation coming out November 15th, 2004 on Century Media Records. The "Visual Rebellion 2" DVD contains the latest videos from Lacuna Coil, Dream Evil, Nevermore, Shadows Fall, God Forbid, Napalm Death, Finntroll, Nocturnal Rites and more.
TAD MOROSE also recorded their show at the Prog Power Festival in Atlanta, US (September 17th, 2004) for a possible DVD release in 2005. It was a killer show according to Mark Gromen (Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles): “The Swedes, anticipated to be the 'band of the weekend' by many online posters in the weeks leading up to Prog Power Festival, appeared to be shot from a cannon, exploding in a frenzy of activity, blonde guitarists criss-crossing the stage, lead by singer Urban Breed, clad in waist-length black leather trench coat. The band's current "Modus Vivendi" will undoubtedly show up on many Best Of 2004 lists."
